Regal Metal Products works with a range of materials. We know how important it is to have the correct material on-hand when you need it. We keep a large inventory of tool steel for our tooling requirements. This is important for production, ensuring less downtime if new tooling is required, whether it be for a tool repair or a new tool build. We work with many alloys of the metals listed below, so if you’re not sure if we work with a specific alloy, just ask us!
Aluminum
Aluminum is a popular material for use in many types of metal stamping: deep draw / fabrication. It has many excellent properties, being lightweight and strong, while still maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It is also naturally corrosion-resistant and easy to recycle, and it’s popular for manufacturing in many industries as a result.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is a popular metal for a wide range of components in Automotive manufacturing, Commercial Appliances, and much more. It’s a very strong metal with high natural resistance to corrosion, as well as excellent resistance to a variety of temperatures.
Hot-Rolled Steel
Hot-rolled steel is an excellent, low-cost choice for parts that require high strength, and for parts that will be produced in large volumes. It’s also a good choice for projects that don’t require as tight of tolerances, and slightly lower strength than what cold-rolled steel provides.
Cold-Rolled Steel
Cold-rolled steel is just hot-rolled steel that undergoes further processing to tight tolerances and improve the material’s strength. Though it is a little more expensive than hot-rolled steel, it has superior surface finish, tolerances, consistency, and strength.
